Bo was referred to skilled therapy due to challenges with emotional regulation that often made it difficult for him to participate in daily routines. He also had difficulty communicating his needs and had a very limited variety of foods he ate regularly, both of which contributed to his big emotions.

Through hard work in OT and incredible support from his family carrying over strategies at home, Bo has made amazing progress. He excels in regulating those “big” emotions and is consistently eating a wider variety of foods, and thriving socially!

While we will certainly miss seeing Bo around here, we are so proud of all the hard work he has put in and everything he has accomplished. Way to go, Bo!

When C first started OT, his diet was very limited to just a few preferred food items—Doritos, Oreos, and Chocolate Pediasure. Exploring new foods was very hard for him.

Through his hard work, patience, and lots of play, we have made amazing progress! C is now less hesitant to exploring new foods through play, and will even taste new foods by touching them to his tongue!

And the biggest win, C is now eating all parts of a pepperoni pizza!! We are so proud of C and we are celebrating all the wins!

J has been working very hard with OT to address sensory processing difficulties that previously limited his ability to regulate emotions, focus, and transition from a desired task to a structured task. He was avoidant when it came to trialing new foods, making it very hard to meet his nutritional needs.

Today, he is now able to sit down and complete a structured activity for at least 6 mins, he is doing well following directions and is transitioning with minimal cues.

Furthermore, he is now exploring new foods with no aversions and has added several new healthier treats to his diet. We are so proud of you, J!
